The next-generation Planmeca mobile image viewing application offers a streamlined solution for dental imaging professionals seeking quick access to patient images on their mobile devices.

Planmeca mRomexis™ is the latest addition to Planmeca's suite of dental imaging tools. It enables viewing of images acquired via Planmeca dental equipment and compatible with the Planmeca Romexis® desktop software. The application consolidates all modalities—such as intraoral, panoramic, cephalometric, and 3D CBCT X-ray images—into a single interface. Additionally, it supports viewing digital dental models and 3D facial photographs.

• Customizable search options allowing filtering by patient Name, ID, or recent activity
• The ability to search and list all patients and images stored on the Planmeca Romexis server* within a local network (*requires server version 4.0.0.R or later)
• Comprehensive tools to view, zoom, and measure Planmeca 2D images
• Image adjustment capabilities such as brightness and contrast control via touch gestures
• Real-time viewing and zooming of 3D CBCT images in Multi-Planar Reconstruction (MPR) views, including 3D rendering (*requires network access)
• True hardware-accelerated 3D visualization of Planmeca PlanScan® digital dental models and Planmeca ProFace® 3D photographs with zoom and free rotation features
• The option to capture snapshots for future reference or email communication
• Access to images shared through the Planmeca Romexis® Cloud transfer service

Device connectivity allows instant access to patient data when connected to the same local network as the clinic’s server. Secure login via username and password is required for server access. Additionally, images can be downloaded to the device’s internal memory for offline viewing.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Compatible with Apple iPad Air / 4 and iOS 8 or later. For server image viewing, Planmeca Romexis version 4.0.R or later is necessary.
